Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church will recognize Pastor William Johnson Sr. and first lady Linda Johnson at the 19th Pastor and Wife Appreciation Program at 11 a.m. during morning service and end at 2:30 p.m. Special guests will be Pastor Sammie Robinson and the New Chapel Hill of Pope special guest. Everyone is invited to attend. The Rev. William Johnson Sr. is pastor.

Explorer’s Bible Study for Women: Women are invited to study end time prophecy and Revelation. Wednesday morning class will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at North Oxford Baptist Church. This class includes children’s preschool program and home schooling through fourth grade, in addition to a new moms and babies class. The Wednesday noon class will meet from noon to 12:55 p.m. at Oxford-University United Methodist Church. The Wednesday night class is from 6 to 7:05 p.m. at First Baptist Church (child care provided). Nondenominational classes taught by Beth Fitts. Women of all ages can attend.
