At 12:11 p.m. to the Chi Omega house after a system malfunction activated several smoke detectors

At 1:28 p.m. to West Jackson Avenue and County Club Road to assist with a stranded motorist

At 6 p.m. to Hefley Hall for a smoke detector malfunction

At 12:25 this morning to 434 N. 14th St. for a general fire alarm malfunction

Lafayette Fire Department

At 10:48 p.m. to 73 CR 398 for a mobile home fire. The structure was 75 percent engulfed. Owners were out of town. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
