It’s Thanksgiving 2016 today and WalMart is in high demand for two big reasons: Grocery shopping last minute and the beginning of Black Friday 2016 sales.

Well, there’s good news: Walmart stores are open today, on Thanksgiving 2016. Most stores hold regular hours today. So, if a store runs 24 hours, it is open all day. If it opens typically at 5 a.m. it is open at 5 a.m.

That means all your last minute grocery shopping is good to go, as long as you can get what you want at Walmart.

Now, as for Black Friday 2016 sales: Walmart starts those on Thanksgiving Day at 6 p.m. So even though you can shop earlier at most stores, you can’t get the big deals until then.
