Huddleston denied bond in murder

The man accused of Saturday’s murder of Kenneth Roberson was arraigned Friday morning in Oxford.
Nathaniel Arnez Huddleston, 27, of Jackson, was denied bond before Justice Court Judge Mickey Avent and is being held in the Lafayette County Detention Center. He was arrested in the case Wednesday in Jackson and was transported to Oxford. He is charged with capital murder.
Huddleston was already out on bond on a felony charge out of Pontotoc County.
Kenneth Roberson, 52, was found dead early Saturday morning at his home at 1004 Molly Barr Road when family asked police to check in on him. The state medical examiner’s office confirmed his death was due to a gunshot wound to the head.
