Country Club Road at Pat Lamar Park to become three-way stop

A new three-way stop sign will soon be put at the intersection of Pat Lamar Park’s south entrance and Country Club Road.
City Engineer John Crawley told the Oxford Board of Aldermen Tuesday that a recent traffic study showed the need for the stop sign.
“We took traffic counts and conducted a stop sign warrant study,” he said. “About 4,000 people are coming in and out of that park on a regular, daily basis so it does warrant a stop sign there.”
The Board approved the stop sign and necessary striping at the intersection.
Crawley said the project should be complete within a couple of weeks.
