All-District soccer team populated by Lafayette girls

Accolades continue to pour in for the Class 5A Mississippi State Champion Lady ‘Dores soccer team.
Less than three weeks removed from their first 5A state championship, their second overall title in five years, the Region 2 All-District team was littered with Lafayette players.
Five of the starting eleven players on the All-District team were Lady Commodores, including the offensive MVP and the overall MVP. Two more players were named among five honorable mentions.
Avery Treloar, Caitlyn Rhea, Julia Perkins, Lucy Wilson and Marissa Harrison were the five named to the all-district team. Hudson Lindsay and Katelin Johnson were honorable mentions
Avery Treloar was named MVP of the region after anchoring a Lafayette defense that allowed just 15 goals in 26 games. Lucy Wilson was named the offensive MVP after a 30-goal season. She scored a hat trick in the state finals.
