Shooting victim released from hospital

The man shot in a drive-by shooting on Tuesday morning has been released from the hospital.
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigators said this morning that no arrests have been made in the shooting that occurred on Tuesday about 6 a.m. on at 228 Highway 30.
According to reports, the man was injured after a vehicle drove by the house and fired 10 to 15 bullets at the victim’s mobile home.
Chief Investigator Alan Wilburn said one of the bullets struck the victim two to three times. He was taken via ambulance to Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi and then later transferred to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. He was treated and released Tuesday afternoon.
Wilburn said investigators still don’t know the motive behind the shooting.
