UPDATED: Jadarius Harmon has been formally charged with manslaughter-culpable negligence and booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.

The victim of a shooting that occurred on Wednesday has died, according to the Oxford Police Department.
At 4:30 p.m., OPD received a call from Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi that Laquisha Marshall, 19, was brought into the hospital in a car after being shot.
The shooting occurred at Burger King where Marshall worked. An investigation ensued and it was determined Marshall was shot in the back by Jadarius Harmon, 22, from Taylor.
Marshal was flown to The Regional Medical Center in Memphis where she died shortly after from her injuries.
Harmon will be formally charged later today, according to OPD.
A friend of the victim who wished to remain anonymous told the EAGLE the shooting may have been accidental.
OPD said more details will be released later today.
“This is a terrible tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Laquisha Marshall,” said Chief Joey East. “This incident is still under investigation and information will be limited.”
