EAGLE converting to USPS delivery

Effective today, the United States Postal Service will be delivering The Oxford Eagle to subscribers homes.
The EAGLE will be delivered with regular subscriber mail, Monday through Saturday.
In the event of a holiday, such as July 4, The EAGLE will publish a combined special edition on the day before the holiday. The newspaper will not publish on postal service holidays.
“We are pleased to partner with the post office in the delivery of our newspaper,” Associate Publisher Delia Childers said. “Our community’s most reliable delivery team works at the post office, so we have full confidence in placing this critical piece of our customer service in their hands. We want to thank the postmasters and postal workers in Oxford, Abbeville and Water Valley for helping make this transition smooth for our customers. We could not have done this without them.”
The shift in delivery system will also see The EAGLE on newspaper racks and in stores starting at 6:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday.
The Oxford Eagle will continue to publish six days a week, with the Sunday edition now arriving on Saturday as an early bird issue.
