Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday

Already, the days are getting shorter with less sunlight as we move deep into fall.
On Sunday, Daylight Saving Time will come to an end.
Yes, it’s time to fall back, turning our clocks back one hour this Sunday (Nov. 5) at 2 a.m.
That means it will be dark at 5 p.m., providing less opportunity for after-work outdoor chores unless you don’t mind the dark.
But, it’s only getting us back to the original time, since Daylight Saving Time is merely a government tool designed to get us more daylight at the end of the workday in spring, summer and early fall.
For school children, that’s probably a good thing since a little more daylight when they are trying to wake up and get ready for school can be helpful.
It’s no fun driving off for class in the dark, after all.
Fall back Sunday is enjoyable because on that day we get one extra hour. The clocks turn back from 1:59 a.m. to 1 a.m., giving us a free hour that day to do whatever we like.
Take a walk, read a book, or perhaps take a nap. It’s your hour, you decide!
