Justin Moore to perform Nov. 6 in Oxford

The College Town Throwdown Concert Tour featuring Justin Moore, Lee Brice, Easton Corbin, Joe Nichols and more, is coming to Oxford.

In all, 15 artists and over 30 hours of live country music to kickoff tailgating weekends at five different college football towns.

Moore will headline the Friday, Nov. 6 concert the night before Ole Miss hosts Arkansas. The concert will take place at Foxfore Ranch, located at 1465 Old Oxford Road in Waterford.

Joining Moore will be Jon Pardi, Brothers Osborne, John King, Buddy Brown, Nate Kenyon and DJ Rock.

Tickets for the concert that begins at 9 a.m. are $29 in advance, $39 day of the show and $100 VIP and can be purchased at CollegeTownThrowdown.com.

Fantasia concert Friday in the Grove

The University of Mississippi Student Activities Association will sponsor “American Idol”-winning artist Fantasia, who will perform in the Grove  Friday, at 9 p.m.

A native of North Carolina, Fantasia rose to fame after winning season three of “American Idol.” Her debut album, “Free Yourself,” was released in 2004 and went platinum. She has released three subsequent albums. Her most recent album, “Side Effect of You,” was released in 2013 and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
