Art Crawl

The Oxford Arts Crawl will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. with free exhibits and receptions at the Powerhouse and various locations throughout Oxford.

Dressed and Undressed

Bozarts Gallery in Water Valley and the Powerhouse are hosting sister shows during the month of August. Dressed will be showcased at the Powerhouse and Undressed will be showcased at Bozarts Gallery. Opening reception for Dressed at the Powerhouse Gallery is Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.

Film screening

A reception and special screening Tuesday of “A Walk in the Woods” at the Malco Oxford Commons Cinema will benefit the Oxford Film Festival. Tickets are $20 each which includes the 6 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. screening and Q&A after the film with Susan McPhail.

The Odd Couple

Theatre Oxford will present Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple Aug. 25-30 at The Powerhouse. Updated by Neil Simon 20 years after the success of his original play, the female-led play offers just as many laughs and a new take on the classic comedy of mismatched roommates.  It’s directed by Debra Anderson and features a cast of Oxonians.
