Chancellor’s House, the luxury hotel currently under construction at the corner of North Lamar Boulevard and University Avenue, is actively seeking individuals to fill more than a hundred positions for Doorman, Bell Person, Butler, Concierge, Bartender, Hostess, and many more, with career fairs on Thursday and Saturday.
The job fair will be in Magnolia Room A, 102 Ed Perry Blvd., from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
According to Michael Donoghue, Managing Director, “We’re hosting career fairs to add to our executive staff. Weston Arnsten, Manager and Director of Guest Services, and I will look forward to meeting qualified applicants to serve with us in this magnificent hotel.”
Donoghue said the Chancellor’s House experience is a carefully curated one, with every detail designed to create an atmosphere of elegance and comfort.
“The members of the executive team have been schooled in the many of the finest hotels in North America. “Those applicants who are brought on as staff will have not only the opportunity to learn about the highest level of service, but will also be a part of a new boutique hotel brand, the likes of which Mississippi has not yet seen,” added Donoghue.
Premier service warrants proper attire, and that will certainly be accomplished with the uniforms worn by the staff. Each member will be fitted in custom attire designed by Top Hat Imagewear of New York, ensuring that each employee will be as well appointed as the hotel itself.
According to Arnsten, “Those interested in applying for the available positions should come to the career fair, send resumes or job histories to careers@chancellorshouse.com and visit us at www.chancellorshouse.com.”
