Ole Miss’ first game in October will be under the lights.
The Rebels’ game against Memphis on Oct. 1 at Vaught-Hemingway has been set for a 6 p.m. kickoff. The game will be televised on ESPNU, ESPN2 or the SEC Network alternate channel, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday.
No. 23 Ole Miss will end a string of three straight day games with a home date Saturday against No. 12 Georgia, which will kick at 11 a.m. on ESPN. The Rebels (1-2, 1-0 SEC) are still looking for their first win over an FBS opponent.
Ole Miss and Memphis have split their meetings the last two seasons with the Tigers winning 37-24 in Memphis last October. The Rebels won 24-3 in 2014.
