Former resident charged with burglary

The Oxford Police Department responded to a burglary report on Cedarcrest Drive in September.

The suspect, Amber Rich, 24, of Enid, was a former resident. Investigators say she broke into the home and took several items.

An arrest warrant was issued for Rich on the charge of burglary of a dwelling.

She was taken into custody on Dec. 18 by the Panola County Sheriff’s Department during a traffic safety checkpoint.

Rich was transported to the county line where OPD officers took her into custody.
