If your American flag has become old, faded, tattered, or otherwise in need of retirement, there are now places for you to donate them so they will be retired properly.
The David Reese Chapter of the National Daughters of the American Revolution will hold their annual flag retirement ceremony in cooperation with local Scout groups at 2 p.m. on Nov 10, at the Old Armory on Bramlett Boulevard.
Flag donation boxes are located at the Oxford Post Office and the Lafayette County-Oxford Public Library.
