A Tupelo man faces several charges for allegedly molesting a minor in Oxford.
On May 17, the Oxford Police Department received a call from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office regarding a possible child molestation case in Oxford.
Zachary Adams, 28, of Tupelo had been arrested by the LCSO in May and charged with four counts of enticement of a child for sexual purposes as well as two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes.
He has remained at the Lee County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
On Oct. 8, OPD served a warrant charging Adams with three counts of molesting a child for lustful purposes.
A Lafayette County Justice Court judge set an additional bond; however, the amount was not released by OPD by Thursday afternoon.
