60 Lafayette TECH students receive certifications

Sixty Lafayette High School students are now certified in areas regarding construction and welding.
Grant Crockett, director of the Lafayette Career & Technical Center, and Inda Linzy, counselor, recently presented the students with their National Center for Construction Education and Research certification.
NCCER is a not-for-profit organization established in 1996 that provides standardized training and industry-recognized credentialing with specializations in over 70 craft areas.
