The Lafayette County and Oxford school districts will remain closed Thursday. Both school districts announced the closure late Wednesday morning.

The administration for both districts will continue to monitor weather and road conditions with city and county officials and will provide updates as soon as any decisions are made on openings, continued closings and delayed openings.

The University of Mississippi campus also remains closed.

The annual Oxford Indoor Yard Sale planned for Saturday at the Oxford Conference Center has also been canceled.
