Peach Bowl 2023: Mercedes-Benz Stadium announces cashless policy, mobile ticketing

Fans heading to the 2023 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 30 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta are being advised to plan ahead for several game day regulations.
The stadium, embracing modern payment methods, has transitioned to a completely cashless system. This change aims to streamline transactions and reduce wait times.
Payments inside the stadium can be made using credit cards or mobile payment options like Apple Pay. To accommodate those without access to these payment methods, Mercedes-Benz Stadium has installed 10 kiosks where cash can be exchanged for prepaid debit cards without any transaction fee. These cards are valid for purchases within the stadium and can also be used wherever VISA debit cards are accepted.
Another significant change is the implementation of mobile ticketing. Entry to the stadium will be through mobile tickets only, with no options for pdf or print-at-home tickets. Ticket holders are advised to download their tickets onto a mobile device via the Peach Bowl, Inc. app and present the barcode at the stadium gates.
In addition, a clear bag policy will be strictly enforced to enhance security measures. Permissible bags include clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches and small clutch bags. An exception will be made for medically necessary items after inspection at designated gates.
Fans are reminded that items typically carried in diaper or baby bags must also comply with these standards. While bags will be checked at secondary security perimeters, fans can still bring items like binoculars, cameras without cases, and smartphones.
The stadium will also see an increased presence of law enforcement and K-9 patrols to ensure the safety and security of all attendees.
As the city gears up for this exciting event, attendees are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable game day experience.
