Oxford man arrested on credit card fraud charges

An Oxford man is in custody facing multiple fraud charges.
On Jan. 22, investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested Larry Pegues, Jr., 31, on the charge of using credit cards or credit card numbers with the intent to defraud.
Pegues was arrested for allegedly taking money from an ATM machine using a stolen debit card. He is currently awaiting his first court appearance and a bond has not been issued.
