The Oxford Police Department is looking into several different incidents that resulted in burglaries.
The Salvation Army store, located on West Oxford Loop, suffered a break-in and burglary last week. Investigators with OPD do not have much to go on currently besides the silver Chevrolet Avalanche that was caught on surveillance video, according to a statement from the department.
OPD is asking for the public’s help in providing any information they can relating to the Salvation Army burglary to call 662-232-7962 or Criminal Investigations at 662-234-7962 and ask for Investigator Baker.
On Monday morning, OPD investigated several reported auto burglaries from the Chinkapin Loop area, Mondrian Condominiums and the Links apartments.
Witnesses reported seeing three males walking house to house around 5 a.m., pulling on door handles of vehicles.
Police are asking anyone who has video of these males and wishes to share to please contact Detective Carver at 662-234-7962 at Criminal Investigations or the Police Department at 662-232-2400 or email rcarver@oxfordpolice.net.
This is a developing story.
