Regents announces Co-Valedictorians and Salutatorian

Regents School of Oxford announced the Class of 2025 co-valedictorians, Mary Cile Meagher and Cate Callicutt, and Salutatorian Zach Paul.

These students have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and dedication throughout their time at Regents.

The Class of 2025 graduation ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, at Christ Presbyterian Church in Oxford.

Co-Valedictorian Mary Cile Meagher
Mary Cile Meagher, daughter of Patrick and Keri Meagher, is Regents’ Star Student. She serves as
yearbook editor and student ambassador, and is president of Columba House. A CLT10 Distinguished Scholar and recipient of College Board National Recognition, Mary Cile is also a member of the varsity girls basketball team, varsity cheer team, and multiple honor societies.

She will attend the University of Mississippi in the fall, where she plans to double major in accounting and public policy leadership through the Trent Lott Institute. She also plans to minor in manufacturing through the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence, join the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and participate as an Ole Miss Provost Scholar.

 

Cate Callicutt

Co-Valedictorian Cate Callicutt
Cate Callicutt, daughter of Andy and Emily Callicutt, has attended Regents for 14 years. She serves as a
student ambassador, is president of Ambrose House, and is a member of several honor societies.

Cate has competed on the varsity tennis team, varsity volleyball team, and varsity cheer team, serving as co-captain. She will attend the University of Mississippi this fall to study Accounting with a minor in Real Estate.

 

 

Zach Paul

Salutatorian Zach Paul
Zach Paul, son of Dr. Beth and Doug Paul, has also been a student at Regents for 14 years. He has participated in multiple academic societies and competed in various sports.

He was awarded the Lion Heart Award in recognition of his leadership and excellence both in the classroom and on the field. Zach will attend the University of Mississippi, where he plans to study Accounting at the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence and join the Ole Miss Men’s Flagship Ultimate Frisbee Team.
