Kelly opened her first store in Cleveland 13 years ago.

“It’s always been my dream to open my second location in Oxford,” Kelly said.

The store sells women’s clothing and accessories in all price ranges.

“From inexpensive casual things to fancier dresses for a special occasion,” she said. “People always tell us that when they come to our Cleveland store, they always find something they love and enjoy the bright colors in the store, and we hope to bring all of that to our Oxford location.”

The new 3,300-square foot store will be open this summer, around the first of August.

Also coming to The Commons will be Aplós Simple Mediterranean out of Jackson which will move into one of the new buildings.

“We are thrilled to announce our third location in Oxford, a vibrant city that perfectly complements our vision at Aplós Simple Mediterranean,” said Alex Eaton, owner. “This community is not only home to a dynamic student population but also a growing local community that we’re excited to engage with. Our goal is to infuse the same energy and welcoming atmosphere that our Jackson and Ridgeland locations are known for into our Oxford Commons site, set to open in the late spring/summer of 2026. We can’t wait to be a part of this thriving city!”

In the same building as H Squared, there will also be Legally Tan and a possible Pilates studio and juice bar; however, developers cannot confirm the name until the lease is signed.

An established Oxford business will soon be making the move east to Oxford Commons.

Magnolia Soaps will be moving its business over to The Commons. They are currently located in Sugar Magnolia and will be opening the new store in The Commons this spring.
