Oxford defeated Desoto Central 6-3 at home on Tuesday night to improve to 9-6 on the season. Desoto Central fell to 8-8.

Barrett Kamman threw six innings to pick up the win for the Chargers. Robert Upchurch pitched the 7th inning to get the save.

Oxford’s James Blackwood hit a two-run home run in the 6th.

The teams will meet again on Friday night at Desoto Central.
