Doors will open at 5:30 and refreshments will be sold.

Performers for the Taylor show will include bestselling author, Sanjena Sathian (“Goddess

Complex”), blues dynamos Heartbreak Hill and Memphis guitarist/songwriter Lina Beach.

Hosts of the show are Jim Dees with house band, Paul Tate and the Yalobushwhackers.

Due to spring break, there will be no live broadcast.

Sanjeana Sathian’s novel, “Goddess Complex,” is a biting examination of millennial adulthood,

self-care influencers, optimization cults, internet mommy gurus, egg freezing, and much more.

In a glowing review last week, The New York Times wrote, “Haunting and hilarious, “Goddess

Complex” is at once a satire, a Gothic tale, a novel of ideas, a character study. Like any

individual life, the book bristles with possibilities.”

Square Books will be on hand with a table of Sanjena’s books for sale and signing.

Sathian is co-adapting her previous novel, the bestselling Gold Diggers, as a film for Mindy

Kaling’s production company, Kaling International.

Lina Beach is a Colombian American singer, guitarist and songwriter from Franklin, Tennessee, now based in Memphis.

After graduating from Rhodes College, Lina became an intern at Royal Studios (Al Green, Bobby “Blue” Bland) with producer, Lawrence “Boo” Mitchell. She has now become the newest member of the legendary Hi Rhythm Section and tours the world with them.

Lina is working on her debut solo album, Little Sanities, to be recorded at Royal.

North Carolina's blues/rockers Nikki and Matt Hill have honed their gritty blues/rock/punk style

after years living in musical Mississippi River towns such as St. Louis, New Orleans, and,

currently, Memphis, TN.

Their releases include Heavy Hearts Hard Fists and Feline Roots.

“Think Tina Turner fronting AC/DC,” says Rolling Stone.

Next Thursday (3-20) at 6 pm, the show returns to the Powerhouse Arts Center in Oxford. Guests

will include songwriter, Claire Holley, cigar-box guitar musician Bear Ryan and author Jeff

Barry (“Go to Hell Ole Miss”).

The show’s spring schedule calls for a show in Oxford at 6 pm every Thursday through April 24.

All shows are free and open to the public.
