A fun Oxford tradition, the 16th annual St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl has evolved into a full weekend of festivities, featuring live music, games and plenty of community spirit—all in support of student veterans.

Hosted for the first time by the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council, this year’s event kicks off on March 15, with Shamrock & Roll, a high-energy concert at The Powerhouse featuring the legendary Steve Poltz.

Known for his electric performances and collaborations with icons like Jewel and Billy Strings, Poltz promises a night to remember.

On March 16, the St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl returns, bringing the community together for an afternoon of fun. Starting at 3 p.m., crawlers will visit six bars around the Square, taking on exciting challenges along the way. The event is free to attend, but pre-registration gives participants a shot at winning prizes.

This year’s festivities are not just about fun—they’re about giving back. Proceeds from the weekend will benefit the Student Veterans Program at the University of Mississippi.

The official event poster was designed by local artist Allie Landigam and exclusive event T-shirts are available for pre-order to support the cause.

Grab your green, get ready for Shamrock & Roll, and be part of an unforgettable St. Paddy’s weekend.
