The Oxford Indoor Yard Sale returns this weekend with 40 booths to peruse at the Oxford Conference Center.

Originally planned for January, the sale was postponed due to a winter storm. The event is now slated for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the conference center.

Admission is $2 for adults; children aged 12 and under are admitted for free. The event is held rain or shine.

Shoppers can browse some 40 booths featuring a wide array of items including children’s and adult clothes, toys, books, electronics, antiques, home furniture and furnishings, small appliances and other home goods.

Lori Markle, who oversees the Yard Sale, says the event has become a community staple with all vendor booths completely booked.

“We sell out of booth space faster and faster each year.”

Applications for a booth in next year’s sale will be available this coming Oct. 15 and are on a first-come basis. No date has been set the for the January 2026 sale.

Oxford Conference Center Director Micah Quinn points out that the event is now regional, drawing shoppers from all over north Mississippi.

“We expect a large turn out; not only from Lafayette County but also our surrounding counties,” she said. “This event has become such a favorite, people are willing to travel an hour or more.”

Long-time vendor Dee Jones loves participating in the annual sale.

“My daughter and I have been participating in the Oxford Indoor Yard Sale for several years now,” Jones said. “We love the convenience: No advertising, putting up tables or having to worry about the weather. Just set up and sell. We love the OCC staff and look forward to this every year.”

Unsold items can be donated to Holding Hands Resale, a thrift and consignment store on 1433 N Lamar Blvd.
