Harmontown woman faces cyberstalking charge

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office responded on Dec. 30 to a cyberstalking complaint in Harmontown.
After an investigation was conducted, it was determined that Jaterrika Gipson, 33, of Harmontown, had sent threatening and harassing messages that constituted cyberstalking to the victim.
A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was transported to LCDC. A justice court judge later set her bond at $5,000.
