C Spire has named Deshone Thompson the new market manager for Oxford.

Thompson will be instrumental in optimizing the customer experience, supporting market growth for retail and enterprise sales, and managing Oxford’s daily operations.

“I’m excited to join C Spire and serve the customers and the community by delivering exceptional experiences and the technology they need to improve their lives,” shared Deshone Thompson. “The Oxford market is a very important one for C Spire and I look forward to working with our team here to bring even more value to customers.”

Born and raised in Oxford, Thompson brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the community to his new role. He was previously the Director of People with Chick-fil-A and an area representative with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

“It is exciting to have Deshone, an Oxford native, as our new market manager,” said Bonnie Meadows, vice president of consumer wireless sales. “His background in managing high-quality customer experiences in a fast-paced environment, leading a sales team, and managing store performance will be a great asset for the Oxford store.”

Thompson, a U.S. Air Force veteran, is married and has three children. He is a former Elder and Director of men’s ministry with the Community Church of Oxford.

Thompson is also a Junior Leadership Steering Committee member.

C Spire has had an Oxford retail location since 1991 and also has a business office on the Ole Miss campus.
