Ole Miss began their fall slate finishing second at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate. Cameron Tankersley and Kye Meeks each set new career-low 54-hole scores in Knoxville, Tennessee. Tankersley finished solo second with a score of 202 (-8). Meeks finished solo seventh with a score of 205 (-5) in his opening weekend.

The end of September saw Ole Miss travel to San Antonio, Texas to compete in one of the deepest fields in collegiate golf at the Valero Texas Collegiate. Eight teams inside the top competed including No. 1 Auburn, No. 3 Virginia, and No. 4 Vanderbilt. Three Rebels placed inside the top 15 with Cohen Trolio finishing fourth, tying a career-low 54-hole best of 206 (-10).

The month of October was special for the Rebels starting in the Empire State at the Hamptons Intercollegiate Oct. 7-8. The team finished with a 54-hole score of 838 (-26) in route to a 20-stroke victory. Junior Michael La Sasso secured his first individual title shooting 201 (-15), leading the field by 11 strokes.

The last tournament sweep came on Oct. 31, 2021, at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational. Ole Miss shot 838 (-26) finishing first and Jackson Suber took home medalist honors shooting 205 (-11). It was a historic day on the links for both the men’s and women’s programs as both teams won their respective events on the same day. The last time came on Oct. 13, 1992, when both teams competed in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The men won the Mississippi Coca-Cola Invitational and the women won the Mississippi Intercollegiate.

The winning ways continued for the Rebels at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational Oct. 19-21. The team posted a score of 844 (-20), marking the first back-to-back team victories since the 2016 season. Four Rebels finished inside the top 10 with senior Kye Meeks leading the way with a T2 finish.

Kye Meeks had a career weekend setting a new career-low 18-hole score of 65 and a career-best individual finish at T2. Meeks shot nine-under over his final 36 holes and birdied three of four down the stretch in his final round to close out the fall with a 54-hole score of 210 (-6).

The Rebels wrapped their fall slate with two victories and four finishes inside the top two. Across the four tournaments, Ole Miss had nine top 10 finishes, one individual win, and five golfers finish inside the top five at least once.

Michael La Sasso led the Rebels this fall with a 69.33 stroke-average. Five different Rebels had six or more round in red figures. La Sasso led the team with eight rounds in the 60s. La Sasso, Cameron Tankersley, and Cohen Trolio each had three top 10 finishes across the four events.

The Rebels will return to play in the spring beginning at the Thomas Sharkey Invitational Feb. 1 in Statesboro, Georgia.
