Scouts from Troops 144 and 45 braved the elements as remnants of Hurricane Francine drenched Oxford on Thursday to help with car-rider drop-off duties at Oxford’s Della Davidson Elementary School.
The scouts showed up and showed how to be cheerful and friendly on a gloomy day, as they helped students get into their school safely and dry.
They also gave the teachers a much-needed break from their daily routine and showed the Della Davidson community what Scouting is all about.
