Season Premiere! Jim Dees, the superb host of Thacker Mountain Radio, kicks off the Fall 2024 season at the Powerhouse in Oxford on Thursday, Sept. 5.
Memphis songwriter Mark Edgar Stuart had the crowd laughing to his song Remote Control and tearing up with Until My Dying Day.
A Packed House! Over 200 people enjoyed the season premiere of the Thacker Mountain Radio Show on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Powerhouse. Admission is free and the next show is September 12.
The “best radio band in the nation,” aka the Yalobushwhackers, opened the Thacker Mountain fall season with its Big Band with Horns. Frontman Paul Tate (guitarist/vocals) was joined by vocalist Mary Frances Massey.
