Ole Miss football player arrested

Ole Miss football player Zxavian Harris was arrested on domestic violence and obstructing charges on Aug. 18, according to the Lafayette County Detention Center docket.
No other details have been released by law enforcement as of Monday afternoon.
Harris, 20, is a defensive lineman. He is in his junior year at Ole Miss majoring in general business.
During a press conference Monday, Coach Lane Kiffin said he was aware of the arrest and that they are “still gathering information.”
Harris was booked into the detention center at 6:42 p.m. and is awaiting a bond hearing.
He was arrested in 2023 and charged with felony fleeing, DUI, reckless driving, minor in possession, no headlights and running a stop sign. He pleaded no contest and was sentenced to pre-trial intervention for first-time offenders.
