Life Dental Group recently announced the acquisition of a new practice in Starkville, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth.
The addition increases Life Dental’s network to 16 practices across Mississippi and Alabama, with plans to add an additional three to five practices by the end of the year.
The new practice, Starkville Dental, will be led by Dr. Cameron Hynum, DMD, who brings a deep commitment to patient care and love for the community to the role.
Hynum attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson after graduating from Mississippi State University.
“We are excited to add Starkville Dental to our family of offices and to welcome Dr. Hynum to our team,” said Jeff Hand, CEO of Life Dental Group. “This acquisition represents not just growth in numbers, but an expansion of our commitment to provide exceptional dental care to more communities.”
Life Dental Group, headquartered in Oxford, has seen rapid and continuous growth since its founding in 2017. The company has increased its Compound Annual Growth Rate by 40% since 2021, has produced a 219% increase since its first full year of operations and 464% since its inception.
The group’s financial success is a testament to its unwavering dedication to providing top-notch dental services, as well as its business model.
Unlike many dental service organizations, Life Dental is both company-owned and dentist-owned. This approach ensures that every dentist within the network has a stake in the group’s success, creating a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
“Our mission is to equip our family of offices with best operational practices to foster continued patient satisfaction and growth. We are committed to providing exceptional dental care that focuses on patient needs,” Hand added.
The philosophy at Life Dental is simple yet profound: let dentists focus on what they do best — caring for their patients. By taking on the day-to-day business and management aspects, Life Dental frees its dentists to concentrate on delivering quality care.
“Management shouldn’t consume all of your time as a dentist,” Hand said. “We are so proud of our business model, which frees up the dentist’s time and energy so they can focus on care. Our partner dentists enjoy support for personal and professional goals, and relief from responsibilities such as accounting, HR and marketing.”
