The launch of the Progressive Mississippi Political Action Committee, an initiative dedicated to recruiting and supporting progressive candidates for city, county, and state offices across Mississippi, was announced last week.

Progressive Mississippi PAC’s mission is to identify, train, and support candidates who are committed to policies that benefit all Mississippians. PMPAC will also work alongside current leaders and activists dedicated to advancing progressive initiatives across the state.

Oxford resident, Don Mason, is serving as president.

PMPAC will focus on identifying progressive candidates for city, county, and state offices, providing them with the resources, training, and support necessary to run effective and impactful campaigns.

The PAC will work to develop and promote progressive policies that address critical issues such as healthcare access, education reform, economic justice, and environmental protection.
