A local man was arrested and charged with sexual battery after a complaint was filed on June 27 at the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.

After an investigation, a warrant was issued for Brigham Pierce, 20, of Como.

Brigham was soon taken into custody in Olive Branch.

He was brought back to Lafayette County and booked into the Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
