The paving of West Jackson Avenue continues this week.

Crews could be finished by the end of the week; however, that could depend on the weather over the next couple of days.

Lehman-Roberts started paving the westbound lane of West Jackson Avenue last Thursday. Crews are paving between Fraternity Row and West Oxford Loop and along Home Depot Drive.

City Engineer John Crowley said that when the West Jackson and Home Depot Drive paving project is complete, crews will move across town to begin paving Bramlett Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue.

Expect traffic delays, lane closures and lane shifts during work hours. Alternate routes are encouraged.
