The Oxford Police Department wrapped up its Camp Cops on Friday.
The camp was held from June 10-14 for rising third and fourth graders and from June 17-21 for rising fifth and sixth graders.
Campers enjoyed learning about being a police officer and detective. They toured the police department, visited with K9s and the Mounted Patrol and spent time with Mayor Robyn Tannehill during a tour of City Hall. They learned about CPR and fire safety when firefighters with the Oxford Fire Department dropped by.
