An Oxford woman was arrested after police allegedly found several fentanyl-laced pills while she was with a child.

On June 7, the Oxford Police Department responded to a medical call near Highway 7.

Police found Tresa Grant, 53, with multiple pills that showed a positive indication of fentanyl in the presence of a child.

Grant was charged with child abuse and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she was booked on a $5,000 bond.
