The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Unit received information on stolen property in the area of Highway 315 on May 29.

Investigators responded to the area and located two side-by-side UTV vehicles. The two UTVs were reported stolen from Vicksburg and Russellville, Arkansas.

Investigators recovered the UTVs and continued the investigation. On May 30, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Damian Juwaun Willingham, 21, of Water Valley for possession of stolen property.

Willingham turned himself into Lafayette County Sheriff’s deputies later that evening.

On May 31, Willingham appeared before a Justice Court Judge and was given a $40,000 bond.
