The Music Department at the University of Mississippi is hosting its inaugural Community String Orchestra and is inviting the community to join.

This orchestral opportunity is open to all adults within the LOU community, including university alumni, faculty, students, and Lafayette and Oxford who are string musicians interested in playing and performing with others.

If you play the violin, viola, cello, or double bass, join others for rehearsals filled with musical camaraderie and exploration culminating in a performance on June 20.

Rehearsals are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays in Nutt Auditorium.
