Como man arrested for aggravated assault

A man was arrested recently for allegedly shooting his son.
According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, at about 2:08 a.m. On May 19, deputies were dispatched to 806 CR 504 in Como for a report of a shooting.
On arrival, deputies found William Robert Adams Jr. in the living room of the home with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the MED in Memphis for his injuries.
After an investigation, William Robert Adams Sr., 54, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $100,000 bond.
The victim is in stable condition and is expected to recover, according to the LCSO.
