Registration for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year for Lafayette County School District kids is in full swing for returning students.

Registration opened April 8 for returning students and is still open. Parents should go to the Lafayette Active Parent portal using their current login information.

Click on the drop-down on the top right and select “registration.” Enter the code provided by the school and click the drop-down menu to select your child, then verify or change information as needed.

New students to the district will be able to register beginning June 12.

Required documentation for registration includes the following:

• Immunization Compliance (MS) Form 121 – new students to Lafayette County School District, any student with updated immunizations since last enrollment and all 7th-grade students must show the required TDAP immunization.
• Residency Verification – two proofs of residency (must be current within two months of registration) and in the biological parents’ or guardians’ names and the service address must be visible.

One proof must be from the following items:

• Mortgage statement (current year)
• Property Tax Display Form
• Filed Homestead Exemption Application Form (current year)
• Filed Property or Warranty Deed (must have a physical address); must have a current utility bill
• Apartment or home lease agreement (current year)

One proof may come from the following items:

• Automobile registration (for current vehicle tag– not title)
• Utility bills (must be within 60 days of registration) such as water bill, electric, cable, internet or garbage
