The Oxford Shrine Club has announced the return of Springfest, just in time to celebrate, well, spring! The festival will take place at the Lafayette Country Arena May 1-4.
After a hiatus due to COVID-19, this year’s Springfest will provide fun activities open to all ages. The Lafayette Arena’s spacious indoors will house booths for the craft fair, as well as exterior lots for the Midway. Amusement rides will be provided by P.B.J. Happee Day Shows Inc.
A new addition for Springfest will be an indoor exhibit area and craft fair on Friday and Saturday. Booths are available inside the arena to showcase crafters, cottage foods and lucky finds from books, records and collectibles.
Exhibit booths are available to regional businesses with an emphasis on agricultural and educational exhibits.
“We hope to showcase programs such as Mississippi Wildlife Rescue or the Mississippi Wildlife and Parks Foundation, along with regional agricultural businesse,” said arena manager Margaret Webb.
Booths can be reserved online at www.lafayettearena.com. Proceeds from the event support local FFA programs.
