Wildlife seminar to feature turkey expert Adam Butler

The Lafayette County Soil and Water Conservation District is holding its annual Wildlife Seminar next week. This year’s event will focus on the Wild Turkey Habitat, presented by Adam Butler, who serves as Wild Turkey Program coordinator.
The seminar will be held March 12 at the Lafayette County Extension Office on F.D. Buddy East Parkway. Registration begins at 6 p.m. and the meal and seminar will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Attendees are welcomed to enter their favorite wildlife dish for the tasting buffet. The top three dishes will be awarded bragging rights and a prize. Dinner will consist of stew, cornbread, coffee and tea, and is provided by the LCSWCD.
To reserve a seat at the seminar, contact Carol Watts at the Natural Resources Conservation Service by 2 p.m. March 8.
