By being closed last week due to the winter storm, Mississippi Blood Services in Oxford was unable to supply blood to patients throughout the area. As a result, the quantity of MBS’s supply is extremely low.

To make up for the loss, the Mississippi Blood Service location in Oxford will offer $25 VISA gift cards to all donors through Saturday.

The Oxford Center is located at 2627 West Oxford Loop #C and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. MBC is asking all eligible donors in the Oxford area to donate blood to help other Mississippi patients in need.

To further incentivize donations, all donors through Jan. 31 will be registered for a chance to win one of three $100 VISA gift cards to be given away.
