Oxford businessman Brad Feltenstein seeks Alderman At-Large position

Local businessman Brad Feltenstein has announced his candidacy for the Alderman At-Large position in the upcoming special election on Feb. 6. The election aims to fill the vacancy created by John Morgan’s recent election as District 2 supervisor on the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors.
Feltenstein, an Oxford resident for more than 20 years and owner of Appraisers Associated of Oxford, Inc., and Feltenstein Realty Group, has been an active participant in various community roles. His past involvement includes the More Than a Meal Board, Oxford Charger Booster Club and the North Central Mississippi Realtor Association Board. He was also appointed to the Mississippi Real Estate Appraisal Board in 2021 by Gov. Reeves and is an alumnus of Leadership Lafayette’s 2011 class.
In his candidacy statement, Feltenstein highlighted his dedication to addressing key issues including public safety, education, infrastructure, smart growth and fiscal responsibility.
Alongside his professional commitments, he and his family are involved in the Oxford University United Methodist Church, contributing to several committees.
