Following the vandalism incident at Pocket Park near Oxford City Hall last night, the Oxford Police department successfully identified the two women involved. Around 1 a.m., the women, amidst a larger group, were captured on security cameras vandalizing the globe fountain. The damages are assessed to be more than $5,000, marking the act as a felony.

The department had circulated the images captured on social media, seeking community assistance for identification. As of 1 p.m. today, both women have been identified, with the police thanking the community for their invaluable assistance. Further details regarding the incident will be provided later, OPD said.
