With the entertainment world at a standstill due to COVID-19, many artists are bringing entertainment to people’s living rooms.

The Oxford Film Festival is the next event to shift to a digital platform, announcing its Virtual Art House on Friday, in partnership with Film Movement.

Five feature films were made available to stream on Friday via television, mobile device or computer.

“While we work to reschedule our main film festival, we are so grateful for creative partners like Film Movement for teaming with us on special presentations and events like these to support our work in the film and film festival community,” said OFF executive director Melanie Addington. “This Virtual Art House will create a wonderful opportunity for our audiences to both watch great cinema while also helping us to raise funds to bolster our budget as we move forward in our efforts to give Oxford Film fans something to look forward to during uncertain times.”

The films are available for 72-hour rentals, and tickets cost $12 per household. Oxford Film Festival will receive 50 percent of tickets sales.

The films currently available are “Corpus Christi,” by Jan Komasa, “Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands,” by Bruno Barreto, “L’Innocente,” by Luchino Visconti, “The Wild Goose Lake,” by Yi’nan Diao, and “Zombie Child,” by Bertrand Bonello.
